I think you’re going to LOVE this super simple, incredibly delicious, Whole30 and paleo breakfast sausage recipe. Have you ever made your own sausage? It’s much easier than it sounds! By making your own sausage, you guarantee your meal is Whole30 approved and free of additives, fillers, and extra “stuff.”

As you read in this sweet potato hash recipe, you know I’m not the biggest fan of eggs, which usually means Whole30 breakfasts aren’t my thing. Just this morning, I had potato soup for breakfast. YES. It’s true. I much prefer lunch or dinner foods before noon. But, something I really love to pair with my sweet potato hash is homemade breakfast sausage! It adds an additional layer of savory to sweet potatoes and your tastebuds will thank you.

What I especially love about this recipe is that it’s completely customizable to your personal taste preferences. Not a fan of spice? Leave it out. Love Italian seasonings? Add a pinch more parsley, sage, or thyme. Feeling really adventurous? Add your own spice to the mix!

You could also serve this Whole30 breakfast sausage with eggs, fresh berries, or avocado. Enjoy!
